Imperial Garden Beijing Duck Restaurant
18230 E Valley Hwy #116, Kent, WA 98032, USA
5 star food. We had to wait quite a while for the food to come out and to get our check after but it was worth the wait.
-Peking duck was delicious, rich and crispy. Fairly expensive for the portion size, but the taste was great. Served with a berry sauce and some finely slivered cantaloupe that cut through the fatty duck flavor and took it to another level.
-Cumin lamb was tender and slightly spicy. Great western Chinese flavor. Different from usual Chinese restaurant fare.
-Black pepper prawns were excellent. A bit messy since they were unpeeled but I guess that is part of the experience.
-Chinese broccoli with garlic was simple but delicious.
-Fried rice with beef and mushrooms was some of the best, most flavorful rice that I have ever tasted!
I didn’t have a bad bite the entire meal and will be back soon!

Be aware of the extra service fee (no one told us!)!!! All waiters and waitresses were chatting while we were the only table there. Also, the duck came after we finished our dinner even though I called ahead of time to make reservation. Peking duck was not prepared in front of the table in a traditional way, portion seemed small, well could be a skinny duck. Extra charge for the soup (no one told us). Food taste below average, and price is high. Wont recommend it.
